#3 Shop grade utilizes both clear two-face cuttings and sound cuttings in the board to make up the overall minimum yield. 

Cutting sizes are 3 inch (76.2 mm) wide by 24 inch (60 cm) long, with some two inch wide finger joints in the 12 to 20 inch (30 cm to 50 cm) range. 

Minimum width = 3-3/8 inch (85.7 mm)

Minimum Finger Joint = 12 inch to 20 inch (30 cm to 50 cm)

Overall Minimum Yield = 33-1/3%
