Standard Interior Birch
Plywood Technical Data
Plywood can be produced using
both cross-banded plies and unidirectional plies (UNIPLY). Cross-banded
plywood ensures the plywood is homogeneous in its mechanical properties.
UNIPLY plywood provides extra flexibility along the fiber and makes the
plywood edges look just like solid birch lumber.
Each consignment of plywood is tested in the laboratory for the following parameters: shear strength along the glue line, tensile strength along the fiber, static bending strength along the fibers, formaldehyde class emission, moisture content. Ultimate shear strength along the glue line - not less than 2.0 mPa Ultimate static bending strength along the fiber on the outer veneer thickness of sheets from 9 to 30 mm: not less than 55 mPa Ultimate tensile strength along the fiber thickness of sheets from 3 to 6.5 mm: not less than 30 mPa Moisture content-5-l0% Formaldehyde class emission: E1 All plywood is produced sanded (except Grade C) with smoothness at least 80 grit; smoothness up to 240grit is possible.
